We are using a paid MXChat plan on our website, and the Pinecone Knowledge Base is not working at all. We have tested everything for hours, and it seems to be a system-level issue, not a configuration issue on our side.
Here are the problems:
The Refresh button is missing on the Direct Import section.
Direct Content Import does not create vector embeddings.
PDF Import uploads the file but no vectors are generated.
Our Pinecone index always shows 0 records.
The embedding model (Voyage-3 Large) shows “API key detected”, but MXChat does not send any embeddings to Pinecone.
We deleted all MXChat tables from the database, reinstalled the plugin, reconnected keys, and tested multiple models — the problem remains.
It looks like the Vector Embedding Processor is not active or is stuck for our account.
Can you please check and enable/reset the embedding processing system on your side?
Our chatbot is unable to use any Knowledge Base content until embeddings are generated.
